Anyone interested in the works of Marie de France and, more generally, in the Breton Lais or the field of Anglo-Norman Studies, is welcome to join the society. You may view the bylaws here.

Membership dues are valid from June 1 to May 31 of the following year. Dues are normally collected at the annual meeting of the International Marie de France Society, held at the International Congress for Medieval Studies in Kalamazoo, Michigan.

All dues are in USD.

  • Regular—$25
  • Reduced (student, retired, independent scholars)—$15
  • Patrons—$35
  • Institutions—$50

You may also join online below. At checkout, you will be directed to PayPal, where you may pay with a credit card.

IMPORTANT: At our annual business meeting, the membership voted to pardon all dues last year due to the global pandemic. If you paid for a membership in 2020-2021, your membership will be applied to 2021-2022.
